• Learn more about cold weather diseases including signs of frostbites and hypothermia which are more common during the winter. Check your pets especially their ears, tail, and paws more often during cold months for signs of diseases. If you see any evidence, it is time to get your pet to the vet.
• Look into their comfort. Water and protection from cold are two important factors. Your pet not only looks good in a cozy but also gets protected from the cold weather. In certain areas of the country water left outside freezes.
